Visit us on Mill St for a delightful chippy experience!Customers rave about the freshness of the fish and chips, noting that everything is cooked to order and never pre-prepared. The affordability of the menu also stands out, with many dishes priced under £10. The staff's friendliness and familiarity, remembering regulars, creates a homey feel. Reviews often highlight the generous portion sizes, particularly the "large fish" and chips, which are described as monstrous. Diners appreciate the variety on the menu, including unique extras like battered Mars bars and various fritters. Families love the kid-friendly options and the quick service during busy rush hours.
Long wait times can be a drawback, especially during peak hours on Fridays when the shop reaches full capacity around dinner time. Some patrons have mentioned that the seating can get crowded on busy nights, making it a less than ideal environment for a leisurely meal. While many dishes shine, there are occasional reports of inconsistent batter quality on the fish. Additionally, some customers wishing for more innovative menu options might find it somewhat traditional. It's worth noting that parking may become scarce during the busiest periods, which could pose a challenge for those driving in.

We moved to the area recently and discovered this hidden gem in Whitchurch. The quality of the fish here is one of the best in the area and always at a reasonable price. The owners work really hard and are very friendly with their customers. Show up early because a queue can start quick!
Fantastic staff, food and service times. Definitely check it out! Large fish is a beast and large chips are monstrous! Great place.
Amazing well priced fish and chips and great staff
Best fish and chips 100% recommend. We were staying at Hadley Park campsite and went to get a big order for our group. The staff couldn’t do enough for me. They gave me paper and pen and helped me write down my order and prices so I could work out who owed what. They kept it all warm for me and gave me a big cardboard box to carry it all in. The portions were really big and delicious and well priced. Will definitely be visiting again.
